Branding Aria Sustainability as a trusted leader on the journey to net zero
Lifecycle assessment specialist Aria Sustainability supports SMEs in achieving their net zero goals. The company needed a brand that instilled trust and reflected its expertise in this highly specialised field. With a clear and compelling identity, Aria has enabled clients to significantly reduce their carbon footprints, helping SMEs surpass their environmental targets. A new brand to drive its purpose
Working closely with Aria’s founder, we created this brand from scratch, starting with a set of values that place honesty and integrity at its core. It quickly became clear that the verbal brand was as important as the visual brand, necessitating carefully crafted messages to play an essential role.
The lifecycle identity
We designed a brand logo that incorporated a lifecycle symbol as a fundamental element of the graphic language. This logo represents not only Aria’s forward-thinking strategy, but also the journey to net zero. This symbol was created to work as a standalone icon to abbreviate the brand in either static or animated form.
The style guide
Developed to ensure brand consistency across every platform and establish a unified brand vision, this guide covers the fundamentals of typography, tone of voice, colour palette, iconography, infographics, graphic devices, photography style and templates that can be used internally or with outside partners. The colour palette embodies the brand’s ethos with the lively secondary highlight colours: green for land, yellow for the sun, and blue for air (Aria translates to “air” in Italian), often used as a gradient to add a sense of forward movement. We chose black as a core brand colour, as it uses the least amount of energy when viewing the brand on digital platforms, which aligns perfectly with Aria’s sustainability credentials.

Recognising the need to elevate Aria’s online presence and align digital touchpoints with the brand, Michon crafted an online marketing strategy to help raise Aria’s profile but also encourage potential clients to engage directly with the company.
