Their identity no longer conveyed their forward-thinking vision, so we developed a new, cohesive brand to unify their diverse communications. Developing the identity
The core of the brand refresh was a simplified, modern logo that reinforced RenewableUK’s leadership and innovation, modernising their image while preserving its essence and heritage. This logo formed the foundation for a flexible yet consistent identity, across all communications, for all industry sectors and business areas.
The graphic fan
The logo inspired a “graphic fan” device that adds movement and energy to communications, ensuring visual consistency across all brand touchpoints. The fan can be adapted in various ways to add movement, energy and cohesion to everything from digital banners to print materials. It’s a flexible tool that enhances the visual consistency of the brand and makes it instantly recognisable, no matter where or how it’s used.
Creating a flexible colour palette
We introduced a set of eight “nature-inspired” colour pairings to add vibrancy and variety. This broad palette ensures the brand remains fresh while supporting diverse communications needs, such as events and campaigns.
Shaping the tone of voice
We developed a tone of voice for RenewableUK that reflects their values and personality across all communications. Grounded in trust, passion, collaboration, forward-thinking, and optimism, it ensures a consistent yet adaptable approach. This tailored approach helps RenewableUK connect with diverse audiences, building trust and reinforcing their leadership in the renewable energy sector.
Bringing the brand to life
We launched the brand with a dynamic animation, followed by explainer videos highlighting key areas such as offshore and onshore wind, supply chains, and future energy.
