Packaged Plant Solutions joined the Baxi Heating family to strengthen and grow its existing prefabricated plant room offer in line with market demands. This unique, specialist company needed a brand strategy and brand identity that clearly showcased their innovative, efficient turnkey systems built from decades of technical know-how. Quite literally they are, ‘ingenuity boxed’.
Evaluating the brand’s past, present and future
While the company had been around for a number of years, its growth had mainly been from word of mouth, with its overall presence and marketing being relatively low-key. After evaluating the market opportunities and their competition, we completely repositioned the brand and its proposition to better illustrate its USPs and to engage with its core target audiences – specifiers and developers.
It’s all in the name
The name ‘Packaged Plant Solutions’ was agreed, it succinctly explained the business offer, and had equity in the sector. This coupled with clearly defined values, personality and the ‘ingenuity boxed’ strapline, together formed the foundations for the entire visual identity.
Flexible and modular
BIM and architectural drawings are familiar to their core target audiences – so we created a flexible, angular device to cleverly demonstrate the business offering and the brand. The wraparound shapes demonstrate the flexible, interlocking and contained nature of their prefabricated solutions, giving them a distinct look and feel that’s
unique to them.
Bringing the dynamic new brand to life
The brand roll-out worked seamlessly across all offline and online media. A suite of original photography was created to hero its people, expertise and facilities. These assets have been used extensively to showcase the brand in press advertising, printed and online publications, as well as trade shows. Packaged Plant Solutions’ head office, extensive warehouses and its fleet of vehicles have also been rebranded using the brand’s consistent visual language.
