Timed to launch alongside their latest ‘Big Dip’ TV campaign, this internal activity was designed to surprise, delight and engage. It encouraged colleagues to dive in and fully immerse themselves in E.ON’s full range of tailored energy solutions. With 3D illusion floor graphics and a full sized selfie pool we really captured their imaginations. It was a great success, with colleagues posting creative selfies of themselves interacting with the campaign elements.
Delivered across 12 sites and over 3,000 employees reached.
As E.ON move towards being an energy solutions provider, taking a step change away from their traditional product offering; it was imperative that employees understood the full product range and were fully behind the new strategy. In a move away from the typical internal marketing, we created a disruptive piece, to capture the imagination, making employees sit up and take notice.
A memorable brand experience
We designed the full sized swimming pool selfie booth, so that employees could take the perfect picture of themselves, fully clothed but appearing to be completely under water. The realism and fun was further enhanced with props and people’s imaginations. To maximise the impact of the campaign, the pool was designed to be easily portable, so that it could be taken around the country to all of E.ON’s core sites.
Creating brand advocates
As well as the selfie booth we created 3D floor illusions and a full suite of campaign materials, including large scale posters and digital assets. These communicated the full scope of E.ON’s tailored energy solutions to educate and create advocacy among employees.
The campaign created a real buzz on their intranet as people all posted their creative swimming selfies.
