The Young Creative Awards is an annual creative competition open to all 13-24 year olds, working, living or studying in Nottingham. Our involvement began in 2015 and since then we’ve helped develop a new brand and programme strategy that resonates with a complex target audience made up of young people, stakeholders, Government organisations and corporate organisations.



You can’t build an effective brand without basing it on solid insight. We held focus groups with young people and stakeholders to gain a 360º view of what the YCA means to them, we then created concepts and tested them.  The results helped us co-create a robust business strategy, brand platform, brand assets and a website.

The brand was launched in January 2016 to a packed audience of business leaders, stakeholders and supporters. Followed by the Young Creative Awards presentations in May 2016 where the brand was showcased over a number of different media.
